Most pearl strands should be restrung every year or two depending on how often you wear them. Silk is more flexible ensuring that your pearls will rest attractively on your neck.
Our professional stringer uses silk only to restring your pearls. We also put an individual knot between each pearl for safety.
Pearls must be treated gently. Avoid direct contact with cosmetics, hairspray and perfume, which can damage your pearls. They should be put on last, taken off first, and stored alone in a lined box.
